The Spirit World (Soul Society)

The Seireitei, Court of Pure Souls Seireitei (瀞霊廷; lit. court of pure souls) is in the center of Soul Society, a circular shiro with four main entrances. The walls are made of deathstone, a material known to sap all Reiryoku, similar to magnetic lodestones. The deathstone also forms a spherical barrier around the city, preventing anyone from entering anywhere other than the four gates. This stone also prevents the ability to gather Reishi underneath your feet to walk in the air whist within Seireitei. The majority of this once great city was destroyed during the winter war due to Aizens treachery, leaving behind many fallen ruins and broken structures.

Academy RuinsFounded by General Yamamoto about 2000 years before the main storyline, Yamamoto was himself a teacher at this academy, and personally instructed Shunsui Kyōraku and Jūshirō Ukitake. The once great academy has nearly been reduced to smoldering ruin due to Kidou and Cero attacks being launched within and around its walls from the last battle fought here, no longer the safe training institution it used to be.

The Ruins of the Thirteen DivisionsThe Remains of the Thirteen Divisions of a broken Soul Society, other wise known as the Thirteen Court Guard Squads, now only a shadow of its former self. It was here that the once powerful Divisions deployed their forces to defend the human world and the Seireitei from hollow attacks and other threats alike.

RukongaiRukongai (流魂街; lit. wandering soul city) is the largest portion of Soul Society and the most populated. It is divided into 320 districts (80 in North Rukongai, 80 in West Rukongai, etc.), each numbered in descending order on how far they are from the center; this results in the higher-numerated (and farther) districts decaying into slums. Thus, while District 1 is peaceful and lawful, much like the antiseptic lifestyle of early-Edo Era Kyoto, District 80 is a hardscrabble, violent, crime-infested area that more depicts Heian era Kyoto.

Las NochesA massive fortress which can be seen for miles in Hueco Mundo. The highest powers of the Arrancar ranks and the Arrancar army itself reside here, using it as both a Home and a Headquaters. Due to the loss of their leader along with almost all of the espada, the once united arrancar have fractured. Power struggles and high tensions have erupted into full scale battles without anyone to keep them in check.

The Forest of MenosAn undergound territory equally as vast as the sands that lie far above it, the Menos Forest is the source of the the tiny branches of crystalline trees that poke through the Arenas Blancas. Gigantic, hulking trunks of the "trees" make this area a dark labyrinth of many horrors, and the rocky crags and caves in some areas give more powerful Hollows lairs and vantage points from which to track their prey. Most Hollows below Menos Medio level cannot hope to survive here without constant danger.

The World Of the Living (Karakura Town)

Dangai District The western most area of Karakura. This place contains all the living spaces for the citizens of the city. Its like a mini-town within the city. Shops and vending carts litter the sidewalks with smells and sights. Underneath this all though, there are rumored to be dozens of odd tunnels and spaces underneath, and also the occasional hollow lurking about....

Yumekoto ParkLocated near the center of Karakura, this large, open park is a place for people from all over the city to gather for recreation. Its expanse is filled with playgrounds, natural scenery, sidewalks and walking trails, and plenty of benches to rest on.

Karakura High SchoolThis is where you go to socialize with friends and get an education......in most cases anyway, but when your in a town with a high amount of spiritual energy and an unseen war being fought between the "Slayers" of Soul Society and the "Killing Machines" of Hueco Mundo, anything can happen.

Vizard WarehouseA "home" of sorts for the surviving vaizards, a place they were lead to by Kisuke Urahara during soul societys purge of all Shinigami/Hollow hybrids. It is here that the Vaizards find a safe haven from both the persecuting Shinigami of the Soul Society and the aggressive, battle hungry Arrancar of Hueco Mundo.
